Video game testing is a very fun job,but what does a video game tester do all day to earn a paycheck?

The duties of a game tester are not hard ,but actually quite repetitious,They spend most of their time playing levels over and over again in many different ways.This is part of quality assurance testing that determines the stability of a video game.

Sometimes glitches will occur and instead of resetting the console you have to observe and document every thing that led up to problem.This is one of the unspoken duties that a game tester has and probably the only tasking work they do.

Once a group of video game testers overseen by the lead tester finish a project and determine that a video game is okay to go into the final stage of distribution,they are either assigned to other job openings or put to work on another project and so on and so forth.

So even though it may have many advantages to become a video game tester,it is still a job and should be taken seriously because you could cost a developer a lot of money if parts of the games that you test are not working properly when the game is sold to customers.
